Hi from NY. I'm a new member and we live near Buffalo, NY

We have a 2000 Ford Explorer XLT. We tow it around the country with a 38 foot 2007 Four Winds Magellan motor home. The motor home is built on a 2006 Ford F-53 chassis and the motor is a Ford V-10 305 HP and 435 Lbs torque with a 6 speed auto transmission. Have put 10,000 miles on the motor home and explorer in the past 2 years.

Our next big trip is a 10,000 mile round trip to Alaska in the summer.

Will post some questions we have about the Explorer shortly.

Welcome to this forum! I'm sure that you probably have a nice photo collection of your past trips. It's pretty cold this time of year to take a trip to Alaska.

As my original message states, we will be going to Alaska this summer.....July and August, after some drag racing commitments we have in Ohio in June. Yes it is cold there now, I spent 13 months above the Arctic Circle in Alaska in the early 1960's, got down to 54 below zero one day.
