Whats up everyone, I have a 2000 mercury mountaineer V8 AWD fully loaded. I am working on doing some Mods on it in the future right now it has K&N air filter and Magna flow Muffler. The only problem I have is pinging when going up a hill? Can anyone help with some ideas I tried the water didn't work. Thanks

You could try cleaning the maf sensor and disconnecting the battery to see if it helps. Sometimes if it is high mileage there could be alot of carbon buildup inside the motor that can contribute to a ping.
