hello to all
new member here from SoCal, the Inland Empire area.
Picked up a 2008 all white XLT today with 121K and discovered my first problem which has brought me to this forum.
Sounds like Ford is infamous for AC/Vacuum issues. So during the test drive today, while going uphill and accelerating, I lost air from the vents and as I did that, wife heard a hissing sound on passenger side. I immediately knew it was a vacuum leak and when I returned to the seller, I asked him and he said it was programmed to do that and that's what he was told by the dealer (which I am finding there is a tiny bit of truth in that) but after bringing it home and researching, I found one member who I PM'd already have the exact same issue and I am awaiting his response.
Any other input on that issue is welcome and Im a fan of these types of forums, great wealth of knowledge here!!
