hi everyone!
i have a problem with the transmission in my explorer `93..when i took it apart i found that the od center shaft was was broken in two pieces..here in sweden no one wants to sell me the spare part from a used gearbox,only a complete box..so to my question..does a gearbox from a explorer `95 fits in my `93? i found the code F57AC on the `95 gearbox..my own is a a4ld..anyone knows this or where i can get this part from usa?

I've bought from that eBay seller. I have one of their OD planetary units in my '92 Explorer. used parts can/will save money in this area......

Welcome to this forum! Have you checked a Ford dealer where you live? It might be an option if shipping will be several times the cost of the part.

Was that part I posted a link to used? Cauz I was under the impression that it was new. But you're right, it doesnt state whether or not its new:scratch:

I've bought several things from them (used) that work perfectly, plus they're a lot cheaper than new !
