I purchased a 2014 Ford Explorer police interceptor at an auction. I am trying to solve some issues but no luck.
The vehicle is set to dark mode and I am trying to figure out how to disable it because it's driving me crazy unlocking the doors in total darkness. Other issue I am trying to understand is if this vehicle was set at the factory originally with a remote start option. The keys that were provided to me are standard keys with a remote, no fob. I saw online that there are some companies selling pre- installed devices that would enable this feature but I am hesitant. I have some understanding of wiring but by any means no expert.
I am still sifting thru this forum as there are some very helpful posts I noticed but I thought I would say hello to everyone first.
