Newbie here. Havin a little trouble with my Ranger. I have a godawful banging noise coming from somewhere in the front end. Only happens when i try to drive, back or forward. Everything engine wise is fine, just put in a new tranny last night, but still banging. Could hubs be the culprit?

How about the control arm bushings ?

They are located under the front edge of the door ?

They need replacing once in a while based on your method of driving.
