:wavey:Hello every one I am new to this site and wow it is a lot larger than the ones I am used to
I just picked up a wrecked 1998 ford explorer 5.0
I am building a rock crawler and had planned on just using the motor but now I may just back half and SAS the explorer and wheel it.
I have minimal experience with explorers even though this is my 3rd so bear with me I might ask dumb questions but I will search first (never been very good with getting good results from searching)
I am going to go search now but if anyone wants to answer A couple ?? I would not mind
How strong are the trannys in the 1998 and can I put a 205 T-Case on one and if not is there any reason bolting up a c-6 and a 205 would cause a problem
Also any tips would be great or links to threads that you know of if anyone on here has done anything similar to this.
So Basically just feed me all the info I need send me some parts and pay my credit card bill so I dont have to do anything
