- 2000 Explorer XLT
Hello , Well i have been on here for about a week and i have thouraly enjoyed the wealth of information on this site. i am new to the Explorer realm but i have been driving an Aerostar for about 4 years and enjoyed it (for what it was) I haul 3 kids around most days so i have to have room for 3 car seats and two adults. and i still wanted room for my system (though it is a lot less system the older i get) my wife drives an 02 Mercury Villager so i wanted a realativly new vehicle that i could enjoy. So with out further adue here it is it is a 2000 XLT explorer full leather interior tow pachage, keypad entry system, CD/tape am/fm headunit(factory) and it has 110000 miles on it as it stands. I paid $5200.00 for it tell me what you think, Currently i have run 2 tanks of gas in it and have gotten roughly 412 miles out of the first tank, on the second tank i am down to 1/8(th) of a tank with 402 on the trip meter. If you can't tell i have the V6 SOHC in it , i couldn't afford the gas of the v8 i test drove considering i put 3000 mile a month on my vehicle (Student, yeah even though i am 30 i am a student).
Welll here are some pics of the X
Here is one of a Paint chop with the wheels i am thinking of getting 18"

Thanks Chris. Oh if anyone is in the middle or mid south area of Georgia Let me know.
