Hello,
I am SonDavid and I am new to ExplorerForum.com. My reason for registering to this site because I have problems with my Explorers and I need some advice, help and tips on how to solve my issues. I would post another tread in the correct section related to my topics.
My first topic:
I have a 2002 ford explorer xlt(not the sports trac). The shift level broke off and I can not find anything to get it running again. My mom thinks she needs a new steeling wheel but I think she needs more than that. I will post up images of the vehicle soon.
My second topic:
I have a 2000 for explorer eddie bauer. In Nov 2015, it got wreck from the rear on both sides by a truck and a suv. I decide to retain my vechile instead of getting it tow out because this is the only vehicle I have. I would like to know is anything suv bodys that is compatible to my engine/motor. It can be a chevy or a ford. I prefer a expedition, suburban, or tahoe if it is compatible.
The engine is 2000 Ford Explorer Engine 4.0L, SOHC (VIN E, 8th digit), 4x4 V6, Auto Transmission(if this doesn't help let me know...I'm not sure because I was not around my vehicle when I made this post) I will also post up images of the damage of this vehicle.

Thank you and I hope I make some good car friends on here because I don't know what I'm doing. I wanna learn though because I learn cars and hopefully I would like to make my own car someday that's affordable and repairable(eco and innovation is my motivation)
