Looking forward to talking with all of you. I do have a problem and I hope you can help. I have a 96 4x4 xlt and it stopped running on me. I thought it was the fuel pump so I changed it but that was not the problem so now I have an extra pump. I checked the fuses and noticed the pcm fuse was blown. I haven't checked the relay yet. The explorer will turn over but will not start and when you turn the key on you normally will hear the pump hum put I don't hear it . Can you help?

Welcome to this forum! I've renamed your thread, and moved it into the stock 95-01 section. Check all of the wiring on the PCM circuit. It's possible that an O2 sensor wire melted against the exhaust system or the internal wiring harness in the transmission shorted against the pan inside of the transmission.
