Just wanted to say hello to all. I have been browsing this board for a while and have gleaned quite a bit of useful info already. I currently own a 96 XL 4WD V6 as well as a 98 Eddie Bauer AWD V8.

I have spent time looking at threads regarding body repair and stereo info.

I just recently bought the 98 EB, and it had been in a small wreck and needed some repair to driver side front fender and headlight/cornering light assembly. I bought new assembly online (no good parts at junkyard locally) and repaired fender as best I could. Still debating whether to replace fender completely (biggest concern is matching factory paint upon repainting new fender).

I am also in process of upgrading the audio setup in the 98 to sound better and allow me to fully enjoy my Ipod. I am putting in an Alpine HU with Phoenix Gold 6.5 component (front) and 5x7 coaxial(rear) as well as new 8" RF sub in stock rear enclosure(not currently interested in building a custom one or paying >$200 for an aftermarket enclosure) with 2 new PG amps to power. I have been reading about wiring issues, etc. There is certaintly a wealth of good info to be had here!
