Hey everyone! My names Steve. I have a 96' Explorer Limited 4.0 with a 4" susp. Lift. Any one out there with lifted limiteds? Been having hard time finding 2-3" body lift for it. Wanting to put 33x12.50' s on it. Will I have to change gear ratio?

Welcome to this forum! The speedometer, cruise control, and shift points are affected when you make a change to the tire size.

How's it going? Thanks for tha info. I knew about recalibrating speedo. What am I looking at to adjust shift pattern, with everything electronic?

You have to replace the speedometer gear to match the tire size. The computer uses the input from the VSS to vary the shift pattern.
