I just joined the site and have already found it quite helpful. I've been driving my xplorer for about two years and I love to take it off road with my friends and their trucks. I live in a pretty great place for off-roading and even though my truck in stock, I've been really impressed with what it can do.

Welcome to the site. Many of us who have stock trucks and who take them off-road are very impressed with it's capabilites(myself included). Not only the owners but the guys who you go with. You will be able to get even farther with traction devices(locker,L/S) a lift and bigger tires.

Welcome to the site. There is alot of places in VA, private & public. There is GWNF that is public and some private areas in Charlottesville, VA & Gore, VA which only hold events a limited amount of times a year. A stock explorer is very capable. However I suggest doing a TT/shackles lift plus some larger tires when you can. You'll be amazed how much of an improvement it'll be.

Welcome to the site!
