New member. I inherited a 97 XLT from my brother when he moved to Florida, it has been sitting for about a year since I have two other cars. Starting to drive it now, sounds like it has a bad wheel bearing, but it doesn't change pitch when turning. Are wheel bearings/hubs a common failure on these trucks? Thanks in advance,
Mark

definitely sounds like the front, but doesn't change pitch when turning lke hubs typically do. Also seems like very intermittently I get ABS activation on dry pavement, which also made me think it was a hub, but from what I have read on here, seems like the rear wheel speed sensor is a common failure??
