Hi all

I am from South Africa and recently moved to Florida, I just got myself a white 2003 Sport XLT.

Thanks to this forum I have resolved two small problems on the Explorer.

I'm looking forward to getting some more technical advice/help from all the Ford experts on this form

The problems I got fixed was the exterior power mirrors was not working, I removed the switch, cleaned the contacts and now the mirrors are electric again, and the overhead console was dead, but got it fixed using instructions found on this forum.

My tailgate is totally messed up, it is not aligning at the bottom so it is not closing properly and not latching into the 2 bolt at the side, so the "door ajar" light is always on, and where one of the hinges attaches to the tailgate it is starting to tear out of the tailgate, so I'm looking for a new tailgate.
