Hello, I'm Marilyn from Northern WI looking for help with the power door locks on my 2000 Ford Explorer.
Happy to meet all of you.

Are the locks on your Explorer trying to work. If they are trying but don't seem to be strong enough to work it may be that the linkage that goes to the latch on the door
is sagging. My 1999 was like this and it took me a bit but I figured it out that this was the issue and took a spring, something like a carburetor return spring, and hooked one end to the part of the latch the locking rod goes to and the other end in a spot up the door that didn't interfere with anything and that held the latch locking part up and the lock worked great.
This may not be the question you had but if so this will fix it.

Thank You

Having problems with the rear wiper motor. My son has it out now, calling the local salvage yard for a replacement. If that does't work we will try ebay. So far I think we have it handled, if not I'll be back on. Thanks
