My name is Jim, I have been perusing the forums on this site for quite a while. I've have owned a '92, '96, '99 Exploerers and just recently acquired a 98 5.0 Mountaineer. My project rig is a '92 Ranger Ex Cab that I plan on swapping the Mtneer 5.0 drive train into. I use the ranger for moderate wheeling and snow plowing. I have plowed with the truck for about ten years. It has a stage 3 Duff 3" lift, 2" body lift, a '96 8.8 Exp rear axle, with 4.10's and Ected lockers front and rear. I have run this set up for about ten years and everythings held up fairly well, but the front ent is getting a little tired so I plan doind a 44 SAS this summer to account for the addition of the 5.0. I have always been more of a reader than a poster, but sometimes you just can't find what you are looking for through searches alone. I look forward to being able to ask for and maybe provide useful information about our toys.
