From the start of the problem I started getting a binding problem in the left rear tire when turning I checked out the rear brakes and no problem. Then I started 2 get a clanking noise and found that the bearing on the front drive shaft was done. We drove on it 4 a few weeks with the front driveshaft bearing bad before i found a new one.(ford wanted 400.00 for a new shaft and all the parts stores have no idea what it is, found the bearing online) By the time I replaced it the front tires were binding. I had replaced 2 tires also bad idea should of got all 4. I endedup blowing the transfercase apart. I replaced the transfer case and still getting a binding in the rear end when turning. I removed the front driveshaft and for a few turns the rear end still was binding now it isnt anymore. Need ideas on where 2 go from here. I did remove the front diff. cover and no metal chunks. All 4 new tires now.
