HELP! CD stuck in '02 XLS

I just bought an '02 XLS yesterday. On the drive home from the dealership, the CD stopped playing. A "CD ERROR" display came up and wouldn't let me eject the disc. It kept saying "NO CD" everytime I would press either 'CD' or 'EJECT'. How can I get it back out? Why do you think this happened? The CD is new, has no scratches. It will let me turn the radio on and I can user the tuner but not the CD.

BTW - This is the single CD player, not the 6-disc changer model. Hope that helps.

check the manual i think there's a two button combo to manually eject CDs??

We have/had this same problem with ours. Its currently at the dealer being repaired. Another one of the 3rd gen flaws. It would eject the disks after being in there awhile.

rip the head unit out and take it apart, and then get a new one
