Here is the thing fellas,
On my 92 X I just recently had the brake caliper pins replaced they were extremely worn, and would slide out of position, and i'd have bang them back in. I had them replaced though. and they don't slide out anymore.
however, When i make semi sharp turns when gently applying the brakes i get a really loud and ruff mechanical brake noise...it sounds really really really UNHEALTHY. I don't want to go to a service garage to have it looked at because often times they replace parts that aren't the problem....

can someone please help me!!!!!!??????

thanks,
ryan

Have you replaced your RA bushings lately?

Mine would make a sound like crusing metal when I would turn the wheel while stopping (basically whenever I would pull into an angled parking space). I didn't know it was the RA bushings, but when I had them replaced a couple weeks ago, the problem went away.

Just a thought.

good thought and i appericate it however,
I replaced the shocks in july and i think i got new RA bushings with them...not sure...
but it just started happening probably 1 week ago....

THE BEST I CAN DESCRIBE THE SOUND IT MAKES IS ITS ALMOST LIKE I HIT SOMETHING AND START TO DRAG IT WHEN I TURN. occurs when i make right turns mostly but does occur on some left turns...probably 70% time on right turns and 30 on left turns.

help please!
