Hey guys I'm having a little problem. I have two black ford emblems I would like to put on my '01 Explorer sport but I can't seem to get the old emblems off. The emblem on the rear is pushed in flush with the trim on the tailgate, and the one in the front seems like it is part of the grille itself (Or it is just pushed on really really tight with no gap visible). I couldn't seem to find any clips/screws on the emblems that were visible. I was going to try and take fishing line to pull them off but the one in the front doesn't have a gap to put the fishing line in and the one in the back is pushed in like I said. Sorry I don't have any pics of it right now but here is a visual in case you don't really understand what I'm talking about.

Thanks for helping
(I forgot to add that I'm new, so if this is in the wrong section please move it)

for the back one you just pry it off with a screwdriver or blade. You could hit it with a heat gun or hair dryer for a while to loosen up the glue but gently but firmly prying on it with a flathead will take it out. The front one has thes two clipss in the back with some type of nuts that you can unscrew. its a pretty tight fit in the back of the grill so you might just take off the grill or loosen it to get some more clearance.

Use 20 pound or heavier monofilament fishing line with work gloves for the rear.
Most difficult part is removing the double stick tape residue. I used a very thin
coat of clear silicone to bond. Ditto front, only fastened with two speed nuts.
