2005 Ford Explorer XLT
I have an 2005 Explorer XLT Advance trac. The parts store gave me a book that covers 2002 to 2010 but in fine print it says it doesn't include sport trac models. They say they can't find anything about advance trac and if it is the same as sport trac. I assume that they are the same. As a female I get the runaround a lot. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

After reading your post again, sounds like you have a 2005 four door without the Sport Trac bed.
AllI know is that on the rear of the vehicle, it says Explorer XLT on one side, and Advance Trac/RSC on the other side.

If no pickup bed you DON'T have a Sport Trac. Advance Trac/RSC is a safety feature, Sport Trac is an Explorer model.

They gave you the right manual, but they are not brilliant. AdvanceTrac/Roll Stability Control is a traction/stability control system that Ford made standard on all Explorers/Mountaineers/Aviators for 2005 forward.

Thank you for the link. It was very helpful. I definitely don't have a sport trac.
