Hello all i have been on herea little close to a year it is has been the most helpful site on the net.But now i am up ***** creek with out a paddle..I was driving home last night from getting my son from school and my front seal went out on my trans.

I got everything apart but the trans and the transfer case is still in the truck.What i am asking is if someone can come and help me i live in Martinsburg WV its 20 mins from hagerstown Md..I have no problem paying someone as i really need to get this done today or my wife is going to lose her job..Shes a nurse and has to be to work no matter what..We just moved up here and have no friends and cabs dont run out this way for some reason.

i just cant do it all by myself the trans and transfer case is kicking my ass please if anyone can help me out i live at 47 insurance ct martinsburg WV or you can call me at 301 988 2090 its mike..Sry mods if u dont like this post i dont kno what else to do i am really screwed right now!!!Please help

The front seal blow out issue is a common occurrence on these transmissions. Were you towing in overdrive? Did you check the coolant level in the radiator? Did you check the fan clutch for free play?

I'm too far to help, hopefully some east coasters will see this..

As another option, at least to get your wife to work.. Enterprise car rental will bring the car to you.. Just rent the cheapest thing so she can get to work.. Its not exactly cheap (I figured $40-$50/day after taxes etc) but its still cheaper than losing a job.

I second the car rental as saving the job is worth the cost been there done that my self hard to swallow but in the end well worth it so make the call and get r done then deal with the seal once your not panicked as rushing the job is also not a good Idea. If I was closer I would help but let’s hope some one close in sees this and comes to help ya.
