Hello, my name is Jason I have a 1991 XLT that was my baby until I got my SHO. Then I gave the car
to my wife, well we wont go any further than that. The Heat and the ac don't blow hot or cold. Can someone help me. other than the cars runs good, beside an oil leak.

The last time I checked it blew but no heat or cool.

If I understand correctly, the fan is working, so I expect the AC problem is separate from the heat problem.

Any sign of blend door problems? The 1st gens don't have near the problems as the 2nd gens with blend door. When you slide the temperature knob, is there some resistance?

flow through the heater core: With the engine hot and running, are both hoses going to the heater core hot? If one is cold and the other hot, that suggests a clogged heater core. If neither is hot, figure out why the water pump isn't pumping anything to the heater core.

AC issue: start by checking to see if the compressor is coming on.

We get some resistance when going from hot to cold or vice versa. But I did find out the car was bone dry on coolent. Once I get it out on the road will test everything else.

drove it for a little while last night, finding that the ac or heat does not work, blower works fine, what else could this be. I seems like the ac tries to get cold, and heats wants to get hot.

Is the AC compressor kicking in at all when you engage the AC?
