Ok im putting on my new hubs (milemarker)after torquing the inner nut and installining outer nut I go to put the high torque on it ant it rips the little keeper tit right off the retaining washer . anyone else have this problem I dont see how this wimpy little nub could ever hold against 150lbs.
Any help is welcome Thanks.

i think you put them on the wrong way.... i think the little pin type thing goes twords the inside on the truck and the nut with the whole in it will be pressed on the wheel bearing with the hole facing out.that way when you tightendown on your outter nut the nut spins on the flat side on the washer.

Ya man, Me and Dannyboy had the same thing happen to us. Dannyboy had bought the Milemarker Hubs and when we tightened up the one side the tab broke off. Ended up going to the Off-road shop and buying a new one.. Worked fine then.. Hmmmm? Milemarker are they as good as warn.. That is the question.. Dannyboy ended up taking his hubs back and bought the warns for this reason..

I wonder if I can use the warn conversion kit with these ,they should be the same. I guess thats what I get for trying to save $30.00 buy getting the mile markers.
I thought I saw something here about a guy welding some more on the tab then shaping it to fit tight but could not find it in a search ,maybe Ill try this first.
Thanks, Todd
Oh yea if anyone Knows the post I mentioned please let me know. Tx.s again

The warn kit and the milemarker kit are exactly the same - there is no difference. I have both and they are the same.

The nut with the pin goes inside - torque to 35 lbs - back off 1/4 turn torque to 16 lbs.

And the washer with the holes - fit on hole over the pin.

Add second nut and torque to 150 lbs. Be sure to put as much side pressure on the spindle nut tool as possible to keep it from slipping. The flaw is with the tool design - there isn't much area to grab with. I need to stand facing the front or back (depending on which hub I am doing) and put pressure on the tool with my left hand and 1 leg to keep the tool steady. It's a pain, but it does work.

Also - go back and tighten everything after 500 miles or you may start burning through bearings. Been there, done that...
