Ok i need help, I have looked on the left side frame rail and still I am not able to find it. I do wear contacts so maybe I am just blind.

It might be covered up by a sheild with a couple mounted points.. you'll find it someday.

i gotta 99 sport sohc

its on the drive side inside the body rail (dunno what you would call it) Youll see it, its held in by two snaps. Your going to need a special tool to get it out.

Ok, lay down on the ground behind the driver's side frong tire. Slide yourself underneath. Completely underneath so you can see the inside of the frame. Inside the channel will be a cylindrical object with two lines attached to it. Next, go to Walmart, pick up filter, go to nearest garage, pay $15 to have it changed and save yourself the hassle and be done with it. Ok so that last part was what I did, but thats where its located.

Well I actually went out and looked, Thank you IamTodd looks like I will swap it out this weekend.

thanks again guys

Like above...make sure and pick up a fuel filter tool if you don't have one (couple bucks at the auto store). Oh and be sure and pull the fuel relay while the truck is running to relieve the pressure. If not you'll get a nice 87octane shower when you pop the lines!!!
