Help! My Gauges are dead.

My '95 Explorer's gauges went dead a month ago. This has effected all gauges: Speedo, Tach, Temp, Fuel, Odo & amp.

At first, they played dead and then after driving for a while or after stopping and restarting they would work. Even this came to an end and none of the gauges work.
To my knowledge, this is the only problem I have. Some are telling me it's a bad ground . . . I'll buy that . . . but where is it?

This occurred out of the blue . . . I haven't a clue what it is. Aside from that it runs *****in'!

What do y'all think?

did you pull out the instrument panel? maybe it's just a loose connection. it doesnt sound like a major problem

I haven't tried that . . . .

How difficult is it to do that?

What would I need to do? (In a nutshell)

Thanks

Hey. Try checking the condition of your battery and your electrical system. Mine went out but after replacing the battery for the first time, it's all better now. Our battery contacts were corroded with battery acid, so that may also have caused the problem as well. Just suggestions. Later.
