I accidently caused a piece of wood to come down and leave a nice scratch right on the top of my car. The wood iddn't just leave a small scratch, but a pretty good sized one. The paint didn't like chip off, but you can tell that it happened. Please recopmmend a product that can help remove thisascratch without paint work!

working at an automotive paint store, I have found that depending on if the scratch isn't down to the metal I would use a product called Turtle Wax Clear Coat safe rubbing compound. it should take the scratch out. It will take some time but it should come out. If that dosen't work visit your local auto paint store and ask for a rubing compound that will take it out.

GS27. This stuff works well. You should be able to find it at local auto parts store.
