HELP...Please? Need to how to get something off

Hi, fellows here helped with the code question (git it figured out with there help, thanks) On top of engine the plastic housing that the air filter hose goes into, I disconected the hose and took out six torx screws (I thought it would lift off) ?????? I am trying to get to a sensor that is next to the thermostat housing.....Anyone know how to get this plastic housing off (other than a sledge hammer) ......Please?

SOHC/upper intake manifold?

I'm guessing that you have the SOHC V6 and you're trying to remove the upper intake manifold. If so, this thread may help:

You're probably fighting the EGR tube that enters the manifold.
