Help pls. AC stopped working

Hi Folks. Any help is appreciated! Yesterday I turned on the AC(climate control) in my 95 Eddie Bauer and it blew hot air. I smelled a burnt electrical smell from the fuse box (I thought) and pulled over to check the fuse. #18 for the AC is fine. The smell might have been coming from the power distribution box but didn't see anything wrong there.

What am I missing? It worked fine last week. Any help is greatly appreciated

Just a chance here, but throw it to 80 and see if it continues to blow hot, then throw it down to 60 and see what happens.

I know, it sounds stupid, but try and post your results.

ok, tested it again

OK, I ran it from 60-80. Doesn't seem to blow cold and makes a funny fan noise from the drivers side. Also smells hot electrical. All the fuses look fine. Any thoughts?
