Hi everyone!
We have a 1994 Ford Ranger 4 cyl. manual, that used to blast you out with heat and last week all of a sudden its only blowing barely warm when you are moving and cool when parked or stopped. My first thought was simple fix...replace the thermostat...HA
We can't figure out where the thermostat is located, I've researched online and one post said its up top (blocked by timing belt cover?) one post said its located on bottom of engine. Please someone help and tell us where it is. A diagram would also be very helpful (I've had no luck finding one.). Neither of us are mechanics but a thermostat shouldn't be so difficult to do. I used to watch my Dad change them years ago and it was easy.

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the Ranger section. Follow the top radiator hose to the area where it's connected to the engine. The thermostat is below the housing where the hose is connected.
