Help: removing rear door windows and regulator.

My '94 has the split windows in the rear doors, the kind with a small, fixed window behind the regular one. My book doesn't exolain how to remove this kind, and though I found a thread here about it, the Photobucket images don't come up any more.

I presume I need to remove that fixed window in order to get the regulator and motor out, but maybe not? I was able to get the top part of the fixed window popped out, but really no more than that, and didn't want to try forcing anything.

This is all for the purpose of pulling the motor and regulator, because it sounds to me like those gears are stripped out.

you do not need to remove the fixed window to replace the regulator . i would suggest updating to the hardware from a 95 -00 explorer . here is a thread on it .How To: First Gen Rear Window with Cables Fix
