Can someone w/ Warrior shackles please help w/ a couple of measurements . I need the lengnth of the shackles from end to end and from Center of bolt hole to center of bolt hole ... I've seen warriors and can't see paying $50 for em' . So I'm makin' my own , thnx in advance for the help .

alright this should all be correct:

from side to side it is 3.7 inches. This is from the outside edge to outside edge.

It is .35" thick.

The bar in the lower middle is 2" long and rectangle.

It looks like an H but the bar in the middle is a little lower. The very bottom to the bottom of the middle bar is 3.8".

The very top to the top of the bar in the middle is 4.4".

Therefore, 4.4 + 3.8 + 2 = 10.2"

It is 10.2" from top to bottom.

Hope this helps and good luck,

Grant-P

Make 'em whatever length you want...

Increased shackle length increases lift at a 2:1 ratio. Add four inches to the shackles, get two inches of lift. I would say four inches would be the max without running into stress/sway/whatever problems.
Sure, you could make your own and save a few bucks if you are standing in a welding shop with all the material in front of you. If not, by the time you round up materials, get it all cut, weld them up, drill the holes, deburr and paint, you may find that at $50, Warrior Shackles are the best mod you'll ever do to your truck for the price.
I'm a big fan of making my own stuff and a bit of a tightwad to boot. But I must say, WP Shackles are an exceptional value as far as mods go...

Thnx

Thanx for the help , I'll be startin' on em' tomarrow . I figure it'll take about 45min. to cut & weld it all .
