- '99 explorer xlt
I have a 99' explorer Xlt. The intake gasket needs replaced as it has blown and anti freeze spews out following the thermostat opening. I was just wondering how much work it would be to replace this and if anyone has done it, maybe a good guide to follow. I'd rather spend 8 hours doing it myself than paying $450 to have some jerk off do it and worry about whether it was done right or not.
