Help, what is this brushguard for??

well i went an hour and a half out of town yesterday to pick up this Westin Brushguard for "an explorer". it was kind of dark, so i set it in front and from what i could tell it seemed to fit good .
anyways fast forward to today and now im pissed off, the thing is about 6" wider on each side and the brackets dont make any sence.

i hope this guy will give me my money back if not ill have to sell it but i dont even know what its for.

It could be a newer Gen III/IV Explorer. Did you get a part number and cross reference anything before buying it?

To me it looks like it's made for a Chevy truck. I'm going by how the light gaurds are angled up.

yea im really not to sure, i was going to try it on my buddys titan.
i want to sell it now just i dont know what to say its for.
the guy who i bought it from had a ranger which he said it didnt fit but was told it came off a 99 explorer.
i cant find any part numbers on it.
i was just looking at one for 2006-2010 explorers and it looks identical.

It is the same one posted in your link. It is for the 06-10 explorer.

Well its up for sale again on kijiji.
Were gonna try and see how it fits on buddys titan he might mod it to fit.
