HELP WITH AC / AC relay

I have a 96 XLT, I am not able to get the AC pump to come on with the switch in the SUV. I have check the AC level, about 60 PSIG with the pump not engaged, I am able to hot wire the pump from the battery, in the case the AC works fine.

I have check the AC control switch in the SUV and it seems to be working fine,

I am thinking there must be a sperate controller / relay that must be faulty.


ANY SUGGESTIONS would be greatly appreated.

hey i figured the problem on my explorer my relay was bad so you can try to swap the relays in the fuse box in the engine compartment and see if it will work if you have any questions go ahead and ask i will try to be more helpful
