help with PVC valve?!?!?!

ok i just went threw my owner's manual and it say's my PVC valve should be replaced by my dealer at 60k for FREE. i now have 83k on my truck and i know this has never been done..so even tho im 20k over can i still go in and ask for a free replacement?? and i my dad's 97 just rolled over 64k can he go get his for free too???

Not sure on a '96 but the Chiltons or Haynes manual will show you. They a must have if working on your truck.

I called the dealer when I had 61K on my 5.0 just to have them b.s. me and say they will do it @60K +- 100 miles. What a scam!!! I did it myself. Its only a couple of bucks and a minute to do . The heck w/ thye dealer!

well, im gonna call them..i know it's easy cause i have done it on a few other truck's..i just wanted to be able to bring my truck in to the dealer and get somthing done for free..lol
