- 97 Ranger Supercab 4.0
Hi, I recently bought a 97 Ranger Supercab 4.0 4x4 for hauling my boat in and out of the water. When I bought it, it had 7 codes reading on my OBDII reader. The codes were P1443, P0102 and 5 other codes related to misfires.
To fix I cleaned the MAF and checked for Leaks in the vacuum lines around the EVAP purge valve. I cleared the codes and have been driving for a week. Now codes P1443 and P0102 are the only codes I get.
The symptons that I am having, rough idle, and when stopped at and intersection, when i go to accelerate the motor loses RPM's and sometimes stalls out. I have been keeping my foot on the brake and gas to keep it from happening.
What do you think these symptons can be. Where should I start to fix it????
