Hey alright, Slicks system stolen once again

Well last night my entire system got stolen once again while parked in the garage at my dorm. They got my amp, cap, deck, subs, cds, everything. I hope i get some good insurance money otherwise it may not be pretty. I don't understand why some mexicans can't just live an honest life. maybe its because they are too #@$&^$@#& stupid to get a real job or do anything with meaning, i hope the U.S. stops letting them in. Sorry im just venting this is the 2nd time its happened. They broke into 15 cars on the same floor i was on at the same time. alright im done

that sucks man.. maybe u should go wtih a stealth install next time.. and what u wrote sure does sound offensive to mexicans. u should phrase things differently.. but i understand ur frustrated. hopefully everything works out with insurance.

so far, ive been broken into 4 times (previous vehicles). two times were the same ride (tahoe). sorry to hear about it. this is why im taking my time with my X. it will all be MAJOR stealth, and ill post pix in the audio section. i owned a Clifford, and they make great alarms, but if the theif wants it bad enough, he'll get it.

had the face off my H.U. in the tahoe, and the thief stuck a screwdriver in the CD slot and tore it up. around here, if they cant get it out or its unusable they tear it up for you. the main thing that pissed me off was the cop doing the report basically told me it was my fault for having a "vehicle that looks like it would have equipment in it". he said i should stick to stock vehicles, and that i wouldnt have the audio theft problem.

i am willing to give up some SPL and sound quality in knowing that my system will be unseen from the windows...

Hey man sorry to hear about that. I feel your pain, last Novemeber my truck was broken into and my stuff was stolen. It really made me mad, but a few phonecalls to the insurance company, and I had a new window, and they gave me retail value for everything that was stolen, and I didnt pay near that, so I made out okay. As soon as I got my check, I bought all new components, and built a completely stealth system, but now that my truck is only on campus for like 3 hours a day, I am putting in a non stealth enclosure for better sound. Good luck with the insurance company, and give the serial numbers of all your stuff to the police, that way if the MF tries to pawn it, he may get caught. That never happend with my stuff, but its worth a try. Look up man, things will get better

ive had many attempts of theft to my system b/c ppl will here it when i drive by them and they prolly start thinkin to themselves hmm... maybe if he has it he can afford another one so when i get home i push all my tools near and throw a drop cloth over the subs guess NYS thieves are either too dumb or too lazy ive gone through 3 back windows by means of spark plug porcalen<--spell check anyone, but only 1 set of missing subs oh yeah ny cops wont look under drop clothes either for some reason

It's a sad reflection on humanity but as I have had my house done, they took everything even the carpets. I can relate to your anger. But if you go round advertising (spelling please) then what do you expect. We all have to look out for ourselves and act responsibly. Did your alarm go off? If not why not. When you get the $$$ get the alarm sorted first then go stealth. They won't go after what they can't see or hear. So no loud music near where you park up! If we all were more aware then they would be out of business and have to find some other easy target.

PS. When my place was done they got caught because all my stuff is security marked and thats what got them ( 10 years I believe ).

Well I just found out insurance won't cover anything because even tho my mom knew I had everything she opted for the dumbest possible insurance policy to get, only covers stock stuff. so insurance will do nothing, things arent looking good. ya the alarm went off, but i park in a parking garage, and live away from that, so there is no chance to hear it or somethin. I think next time i'll prolly opt for one of those pagers for my alarm. but it doesnt look like there will be a next time because my car is basically a POS with 20s on it. screw it all seriously
