hey all, i am Andy, i am 23 from michigan im a bit of an auto mechanic but more of a if its broken i can replace it type of mechanic lol.

i have joined a few sites lately and have been very disturbed with the amount of well for last of a better term IDIOTS that are out there.

all i needed was some simple info on a turbo hookup and yet i got 100+ replies telling em im an idiot and i should just swap in a 302 or something stupid which is NOT what i want to do. so anyways.

i have a 1998 ford ranger, 2.5l Manual. im going to put underdrive pulleys, new timing belt, and then im gonna put a LITTLE 6-8psi turbo on it just for the extra 50-70hp for the highway or for towing my boat/trailer.

i need to know 4 things i cant seem to find online or on any site.

1. will my stock fuel pump/injectors be ok for this. ( gonna be about 180-210hp * when done max.

2. where do the oil lines run to for the turbo and do i need or can i use an external/independent oil system for the turbo that doesnt effect the engine oil.

3. will it need to be tuned even thought im not going over 6-8psi. if so does anyone know any place in michigan that tunes and how much. and can i drive it to the tuning shop.

4. if i run it from right after the cat, before the muffler do i need a intercooler?

thank you for anyone who can help im really excited to start this project but just need some more info first.
