1994 Explorer
Hey all glad to be a part of your site. I recently purchased a 1994 Ford Explorer 4x4 off an ads in Craigslist for around 800 dollars. Interior is in great shape, has 134k miles on it. Needs a few things done, had a miss to it and its slow to pick up speed. So far I have replaced the plugs are wires took it to someone with a computer came up with the codes for oxy sensors and coolant temp sensor along with a throttle position sensor. I replaced the oxy sensors and coolant temp sensor along with a new catalatic converter. The performance has improved but it still has no real power off take off, last thats left is the tps which i hope to replace in a day or 2. Any ideas or suggestions to get my power back. I believe the truck sat for some time before i bought it.

Yes new plugs wires have been replaced a few people have told me its possibly the coilpack, and looking at a few different places seems like it could be a common problem. it will run and idle but will die and it seems like it could be the coil because it just dies going to replace the coil tomorrow monday. I will also replace that fuel filter 2 kinda on a low budget.
