Hey guys new owner looking to spend some cash

Hey everyone I just bought a 2003 2dr Explorer Sport 2wd. I live in Miami and im looking to take my truck offroad but when i say offroad im talking flat open land with a few bumps, maybe some potholes here and there, and some mud. I mean c'mon is south florida its not exactly rough terrain lol. Can you guys suggest anything i can do to make my suspension stronger and able to handle these "offroad" conditions while still maintaining a decent ride, this is my daily driver im just looking to have some fun in it every once in a while. Any suggestions on beefing up my suspension would be great thanks!

the stock suspension is actuall pretty strong, are you looking to lift or just strength?

Im looking more for strength, the lift would be nice but im thinking of adding the rear sway from EE and maybe some new shocks, would a torsion twist with shackles and AAL benefit me as far as strength or would this just accomodate larger tires?

pretty much just give you room for larger tires...it won't make it stronger...just stiffen the ride

for strenght you are ok I have put my explorer through a hell of a beating and most of it was on stock suspension, have yet to break something too.

so problem solved... you spend money and get great suspension

i hate to sound like apric but everytime i see the towns with 2-3 feet of water i just think how much fun it would be to drive aroud in..
