hey just looking for some input...

The ignition module in question is mounted on the rad cradle behind the battery. Remove the battery and you'll see it, it's in plain sight without the battery.

i swapped the one from mine but i gotta feeling the oil is too thick (its really really really thick) due to sitting forever (obviously more than he originally stated)and the cold causingthe engine to not wanna turn! (so far my assumption anyway) i can get a few small whirrs but not a solid crank out of it. the next day i get a chance its time to check wiring fuses relays and the such, drain & change oil (which yes for the parts truck it seems outrageous but atm the parts truck will be driving me around the pasture back and forth) and figure out if i can get it to freaking fire!
 






now after tearing into it a bit more...of course i found more not mentioned info... someone was obviously trying to fix it at one time...due to the socket wedged onto a nut in the engine bay...and the first spark plug on the drivers side broke off in the block... transmission is clean tho not many oil spots on it... exhaust is rusted to roughly 9 pieces, and i can see why this thing wasnt ont he road running or not...3 of the body to frame mounts were missing...like rivets and all oh well. i expected to run into not mentioned issues about this truck for its price and his speedy decision to tow it for me and all that... pics to be up soon of the un said issues i've found lol
 






fun fun i believe i found maybe part of the issue with the engine runnin!!!!!! as the pic will tell...there is just an open hole where a spark plug is supposed to be.......

and the spark plus wire was neatly zip tied to this location.........

hmmmm it was to cleanly done and zip tied...i would say he had it like this for some reason.... now heres for just other tid bits i got on picture... none of the tires held air...3 of the 4 i couldnt even get the bead to seal....

as for when i opened the hatch.... i seen a lock motor and door latch mechanism like this....

i only recieved one side (drivers side) running board lol which would be tossed out anyway and now just some random pictures for show of the little things you could originally see i still think i made out alright for the price and what i got i just have a bit more work ahead of me than i thought...hopefully under belly pictures of it tomorrow if i can get it into the garage to start dropping the trans
