I have recently bought a 99 Explorer with 85k and I am very pleased with it. Found the Explorer forum soon after and very imformative it is to, as not long after the dreaded management light came on along with erratic idle. I thought I would try a couple of things ie: clean the MAF Sensor and IAC valve as suggested in some threads and it worked!! My Explorer now idles smoothly, although the management light remained on after the fix I had to by chance rewire a poor towhitch plug. Upon reconnecting the battery the light had disappeared and as yet has not returned. Thanks for a great forum.
