Hi All,
Just traded in my 08 Ranger for a 07 Sport Trac 4x4. Was looking for info on the 6 disc changer that didnt work and I came across this site. Looked interesting so I decided to join.
As for the 6 disc changer, I think im going to track down a used one (have a working one lined up for 75 beans from a 04 ranger) and pull the actual CD player module out of it and install it in mine. Should work if all the cables match up, and I dont loose the road noise volume control or the sub.
Anyway, nice to meet you all, and hopefuly I can learn something here and pass along what I know.
P.S. Tech by trade = 12 years experience as a SIAST trained Electronic Service Technician, still working in the field.
