Hello all, not a new Ford owner, but am new to the Explorer world. Just picked up a 2012 Limited for the wife, of coarse the factory warranty is out, but I got a good deal on an extended 3yr/50K one. We've had it for 2 days and we are loving it. Anyway I have one concern, the drivers side door arm rest is split in the seam a couple of places, I just noticed it this morning. I am headed to the lot I bought it from and talk to them, if nothing else maybe I can get it fixed for cost. I searched and noticed that this seems to be a common problem. Has Ford done anything about it? Thanks

Oh this other Fords I own are a 73 Ford Bronco, and a 13
Raptor screw.

Getting this to your dealership is the best next step; be sure to let us know what they have to say. How many miles are on the Explorer now?

I have to take the explorer in for a recall next week so I will ask them about it. It has 36520 miles on it.
