My name Is Peter and im from jolloy old england and im a mechanical design engineer.
I have just bought a 97 explorer v6 4.0.
Im loving it and have wanted one for a while now.
My motorbike was stolen 2 weeks ago while i was on holiday so this gave me a good excuse to buy an explorer. although i miss my zx10r that was only 2 months old.

I am in the process of converting to gas so i will be asking some questions in the relevant section im sure.

Welcome to this forum! You said that you are converting to gas. Do you mean LPG?

yes sorry i meant lpg i forgot that it means something different in the us

I know that gasoline is petrol outside of the US. It's interesting to see that even though it's technically the same lanuagage, there are so many differences. The hood is the bonnet, and the trunk is the boot.
