1998 Explorer XLT
Hey all! Just purchased a 1998 Explorer XLT on the weekend and have already found a TONNE of good solid information here on this forum so I decided to make an account!

She's a beauty of a truck, needs some fixing up but I'm certain she'll be well worth the effort!

Things to do:
New tyres
New windscreen
One CV/uni/wheel bearing (noise from front middle/front passenger side while driving - either in gear or in neutral)
Swaybar links

And the usual stuff for having just bought a new car:
Oil + filter change
Spark plugs (+ check coil packs if these cars do in fact use coils?)
Fuel filter
Radiator flush + fill

Anything else anyone can think of in terms of 'new car maintence' for an explorer?
