94 ford explorer
hi my name is josh and i have a 94 ford explorer. I was going to do my clutch this weekend, but when i noticed most of the bolts were stuck i decide to wait till i could get to a shop. so here is what i did. disconnected the drive shafts, unplugged the tcase, pulled the spedo cable, and pulled the skid plate. that all went back together fine, i think. here is what i messed up disconnected the stick shift straight from the tranny and now it wont go in right it feels like its in neutral but wont go up and down into any gears and is stuck in first. thanks for any help

my guess u pulled the stic out with it in first,,, u have to look in there stick screwdriver pick the one slider thats out of line with the rest, put it back in line with all the others, it shud be back in neutral, it will be easier to see if u do it in total darkness, easier to see deep into that hole with flashlight byuck

thanks any idea what one or witch direction to do this.this is what i can see

the one in the middle is supposed to be two spaces to the right

u shud have three slotted sections,, u want them to all be inline, if its in first then the one to the right is probably to the front , reverse is up on the stick so u need to bring it back on slotted section to rear so slots are in bmiddle of travel, slots all lined up,,sorry i have hard time explaining some time,, edit, u can call me,, mebbe i can talk more clearer,, 760-372 4632 cann anytime
