hi, i'm a new member, with a perplexing d(?) pillar issue that i'm hoping one of you might be able to diagnose.

a couple of weeks ago i noticed cracking and budging on the d (?) pillar, drivers side. (i'm hoping i can figure out how to post pictures...) only one of my friends had a guess...water being 'trapped' inside and creating pressure? i don't want to take it to a body shop, etc. until the PROBLEM is identified. otherwise, i'm sure the issue shall arise again. any ideas? HELP, lol

Rust and bad body Bondo, IMHO. Looks like the car has some damage and was not repaired well.

Are you the original owner? If not, have you checked Carfax to see if it has been in an accident and previously repaired?
I agree with the above posts. You are going to have to take it to a body shop to have it repaired.

hey guys, i ran a carfax report today.....it said that the explorer hasn't been in any (reported) accidents?! i'm thinking i'll take it to an auto body shop and see what they have to say. hope it is just something minor. i'll post back when i know what's up. thx for your inputs, i really appreciate it.
